Is your jewellery waterproof?
Yes! All Vilde Studios jewellery is made from 316L stainless steel which is fully waterproof. You can wear it in the shower, swimming, and everyday life without worry.
Will the jewellery tarnish?
No. Unlike other metals, 316L stainless steel does not tarnish, rust or corrode. Your pieces will keep their finish long term.
Does stainless steel jewellery cause skin reactions?
No. Our jewellery is made from 316L surgical grade stainless steel which is hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. Most jewellery on the market uses 304 stainless steel. We use 316L for a higher standard of quality and skin safety.
Can you wear stainless steel jewellery in the shower or swimming?

Can you wear stainless steel jewellery every day?
Absolutely. Vilde Studios jewellery is designed for everyday wear. It's built to last.
Is stainless steel jewellery better than silver or gold plated?
Yes, and here's why. Traditional silver and gold plated jewellery has a thin layer of metal over a base metal, which wears away over time, tarnishes, and can irritate skin. Sterling silver can also cause reactions in people with sensitive skin due to its nickel content, which is one of the most common causes of jewellery allergies. Our 316L stainless steel is solid through and through, with no plating to wear off. It's more durable, longer lasting, and much better value over time.
What is PVD gold coating?
Our gold pieces are coated using Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD), a process that creates a harder, more durable finish than traditional gold plating, making it much more resistant to scratching and everyday wear. All our gold pieces are 14k PVD coated.
Are the stones in Vilde Studios jewellery real?
Yes. Where stones are featured, we use natural stones. Because they're natural, each piece will vary slightly in colour and pattern, making it truly unique. Natural stones require a little more care than metal. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfume, and harsh chemicals to keep them looking their best.
Does Vilde Studios ship outside the UK?

UK orders typically arrive within 2–5 working days of dispatch.
